Der gleichnamige Hit gesungen von Elvis Presley ist die Anregung für dieses Stück gewesen. Ich habe einige Elemente des Songs nahezu direkt übernommen. Aus dem Fingerschnippen wurde ein Foot klick, sehr tiefe Trommeln und Baßlastigkeit bestimmen diese Komposition. Allerdings habe ich gar nicht erst den Versuch gemacht, der Kunst Presleys ein erotisches Fieber darzustellen nahezukommen, sondern mich interessierte mehr die fiebrigen Wahrnehmungsstörungen, die man ab 39,5 C° genießen oder erleiden kann. The number
one hit "Fever", sung by Elvis Presley is the inspiration for my
composition. Some of the elements of this song can be found as well in my
piece. For example: the finger snapping turned into a castagnet in triple
time. The tom toms and the double bass with there deep sounds are very important
for my composition. But I did not even try to come near to the art of Elvis
to evoke an erotic fever. I am more interested in the irritations of our brain,
when we have a body temperature more than 39,5 °C.
