Through the Skies

Gefragt nach meinen Lieblingskomponisten würde ich sicher neben anderen Jimi Hendrix und Monteverdi nennen. In Through the Skies treffen sich beide, die gesamte Atmosphäre des Stücks ist den Schilderungen Hendrix’ nahe, in denen er vom Wandern durch Wolken und Ähnlichem singt.

If you asked me for my favourite composers, I would certainly mention Jimi Hendrix and Monteverdi, among others. These two meet in Through the Skies, where the entire atmosphere of the piece is similar to Hendrix’s descriptions in which he tells us about wandering through clouds and the like.
